Universidad Complutense (UCM)
The Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) is the largest on-site university in Spain and a historic reference in humanities, sciences and health studies. Founded in 1293 in Alcalá and moved to Madrid in 1836, it currently has around 75,000 students, more than 800,000 alumni and 26 faculties, including Medicine, Law, Fine Arts, Communication Sciences and Philology.

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
The Politécnica University of Madrid (UPM) is Spain’s leading university for technical education and brings together some of the country’s most prestigious engineering and architecture schools. Founded in 1971, it currently has around 35,000 students and 16 faculties and schools, including Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications and Civil Engineering. It is also well connected by public transport through Metro lines L6 and L1, and Cercanías lines C2 and C7.

Universidad Carlos III
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a modern institution with a high employability rate and a strong international and bilingual focus. Founded in 1989, it currently has around 23,000 students and 3 main centres: Social Sciences and Law; Humanities, Communication and Documentation; and the School of Engineering. It is also well connected by public transport through Cercanías lines C4 and C5, and Metrosur line L12.
