This is a very green district, thanks to the beautiful natural colour provided by Monte del Pardo and Soto de Viñuelas. It is mainly a residential area made up of eight neighbourhoods: El Pardo, Fuente la Reina, Peñagrande, El Pilar, La Paz, Valverde, Mirasierra and El Goloso. The district is located in the north of the city and offers a beautiful combination of urban life and nature. It is the largest district in Madrid by area, but not the most populated, so it is quiet while still having life. Although it is not in the city centre, it has enough commuter train lines, metro stations, buses and urban transport options to get you anywhere in the city whenever you need.
